Students will be guided step by step so that even the most reluctant of writers won't feel overwhelmed and bored with writing! By the end of this course, your child will have written four pieces of opinion paragraphs on varying topics.

In this FLEX & self-paced paragraph writing class, 2nd and 3rd-graders will master writing four opinion paragraphs through writing prompts & paragraph structure instruction with an easy-to-follow template & step-by-step video instruction. Students have the opportunity to send their writing to the teacher for personalized feedback. 📝 Each week will be focused on writing one opinion paragraph. Learning Goals
Students will complete one opinion paragraph writing paper each week for four weeks, completing four papers by the end of the FLEX course. Students will gain confidence in their abilities and writing skills.

What is the best snack?
Students will first watch an introduction video to get a feel for what we will be doing in this class. Then, they will get to answer a fun question! Finally, students will be provided a writing template and led step-by-step through writing about their favorite snack. And as always, there will be a mystery picture slowly revealed throughout the lessons.
Lesson 2:
What is the best pet?
Students receive a PDF worksheet and follow the same steps as in week one. Students will continue to be led step by step through these steps: deciding a topic, writing reasons with supporting details, counter-argument comparison sentences, a conclusion, and a title.
Lesson 3:
What is the best treat?
Students receive a PDF worksheet and follow the same steps as in week one and two. The lessons, details, examples, and ideas are all specific to the topic: What is the best treat?
Lesson 4:
What is the best game?
Students receive a PDF worksheet and follow the same steps as in week one through three. The lessons, details, examples, and ideas are all specific to the topic: What is the best game?
