I have taught middle school mathematics in the public school system for about 4 years. I am certified to teach in the state of Florida. I have taught 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade mathematics to special education students on a general education curriculum and following the standard pacing guide and mathematics to middle school students with severe cognitive disabilities in a self-contained classroom and other special education settings.

Students will have online home learning quizzes assigned to them through an educational website designed to reinforce our classroom concepts.

A computer, tablet or mobile device is required to access Study.com and make a free account. The links or code will be provided by me. Also, I recommend students bring index cards, a sheet divider, a blank sheet of paper and a dry-erase marker.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:

There will be a formal online quiz with a detailed report. Just email me after the class and I can send you a copy.

2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

Students will be asked to make an account with Study.com and use their/their parent's email address. This will never be sold to third parties or shared with anybody else except for the teacher. They will make a free account with me using this link https://study.com/join/classroom.html?code=slate-spider-6191. Once they make an account, they can complete assigned quizzes and rewatch videos that we saw in class.
