The learning goals will be about the military science, political situation in America and Iran during this time, and to focus on military tactics, and planning for this rescue attempt. It will point out the short-falls in military planning, funding, and reasons why this military operation failed and how the military and civilian leadership learned valuable lessons which led to significant changes in the Department of Defense.
As a 20-year retired military Air Force officer, I have worked with special operators and on special operation missions. Additionally, I enjoy teaching military history and teaching anything science related.
