Description

Class Experience

This class will introduce or review the short "o" sound. At the beginning of this class as an introduction, we will play a game to practice recognizing the vowels. This will give students an opportunity to interact with me and their classmates.
We will concentrate on the short "o" sound in this class. Students will practice making the sound and differentiating between this sound and short "a" and "i". We will practice blending one consonant and the short "o"; we will also work at forming...

1, Students will be able to recognize the vowels. 
2, Students will review the short "a" and "i" sound.
3. Students will identify the letter "o", the letter's sound, and do some blending with a consonant and "o".
4. Students will be able to identify the short "a", "i" , and "o" in words by listening to the words.

Student should have a whiteboard and a dark marker or paper and a dark marker/crayon.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
