Each class begins with a focused, interactive lesson where I demonstrate the day’s topic using visuals, songs, or videos. Following the lesson, students will practice the concepts independently or collaboratively through materials, worksheets, or hands-on activities. Some classes will involve longer-term projects, such as writing compositions or creating presentations, allowing students to dive deeper into the material.

I use a variety of teaching methods to keep lessons engaging and effective. Presentations, lively songs, video clips, and colorful visuals introduce new concepts, while printable Montessori materials and hands-on activities allow students to explore and practice at their own pace. Each lesson is designed to be fun, creative, and productive.

Students will interact with me throughout the class via direct instruction, group discussions, games, and Q&A sessions. They will have opportunities to share their work, ask questions, and receive guidance and feedback. Interactive elements such as collaborative activities and storytelling ensure a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Learning Goals

Students will identify and differentiate individual sounds, consonant blends, and vowel combinations to strengthen their decoding and pronunciation skills. They will manipulate phonemes within words to build a strong foundation for reading and spelling.
Students will recognize and use figures of speech, such as similes, metaphors, and personification, to enhance their descriptive language and understanding of literary devices. These techniques will be applied to creative writing and comprehension.
