This class will be fun, relaxed and positive. The students will be guided step by step on how to draw the designer gown or dress of the week. With each design I will explain the different parts that make up that gown. The students will learn how to draw draped fabric, one shoulder dress, petal skirt , an illusion dress, full skirt with a train, detail trim, plaid fabric, layers of tulle, layers of organza, structure jacket and so much more. I will be showing them a easy step by step way to draw the body. By drawing the designs of accomplished designers it will expose the students to different choices that can be made to create many different looks. Time permitting, they can create a gown inspired by the design of the week. At the end of class there will be sharing time; a time to point out what they like about their drawing. I will be teaching Fine Art classes; drawing, and painting , fashion design and fashion sketching. I have a BFA in Costume Design, and a Certificate in Fine Art from Mission Renaissance Fine Art School. I have been teaching for 20 years and creating art for 30. My classes will be fun, relaxed and positive, that is the best way to learn any subject. I have lived in 12 states and 2 countries. I look forward to seeing you in my classes!
