What will be taught? This class teaches children to recognize and express their emotions in English, focusing on vocabulary like "happy," "sad," "angry," and more. Through engaging activities, students will learn to identify these emotions and use them in sentences, helping them develop both language and emotional awareness. What topics will you cover? The class will cover emotions, how to describe them in English, and ways to express feelings in different situations. Topics include understanding basic emotions, using related vocabulary in everyday scenarios, and practicing how to communicate emotions effectively through words, gestures, and facial expressions. How is your class structured? The class is structured into interactive segments, beginning with a brief introduction to the day's emotion-related vocabulary. This is followed by various activities, including role-playing, drawing, and singing, designed to reinforce the language and concepts being taught. Each class ends with a review session to ensure retention and understanding. How will you teach? The teaching approach is dynamic and multi-sensory, using a combination of visual aids, interactive games, songs, and storytelling. Lessons are designed to be engaging and fun, with clear, simple instructions and repetition to help students grasp and remember new words. What's your teaching style? I take a playful, patient, and supportive approach to teaching, ensuring that each child feels comfortable and confident. My style emphasizes positive reinforcement, encouragement, and creating a safe space where students can express themselves without fear of making mistakes. How much will learners get to interact with you? Learners will interact with me frequently throughout the class. This includes: Lecture: Short, engaging explanations to introduce new vocabulary. Games: Interactive games that involve student participation. Slides and Visual Aids: Visuals to help reinforce vocabulary. Video Clips: Occasionally, short clips to illustrate emotions in context. Discussion: Guided discussions where students practice using new words in conversation, without sharing personal experiences. Important Note: This class does not support or provide therapeutic outcomes. It focuses on language learning and emotional vocabulary development. Students are encouraged to express emotions in a general, educational context rather than sharing personal experiences.
