Class Experience
In this ongoing class, learners will become familiar with a variety of strategies for a variety of genres, including personal narratives, realistic fiction, poetry, historical fiction, fantasy, and mystery writing. We will read lots and lots of short and long mentor texts. We will analyze the techniques authors use - brainstorming, collecting entries, writing with stamina, finding small moments and expanding them into longer pieces, as well as revising, editing, and publishing.
