Calling all geography nerds! Come join in the fun! This is a class for all geo nerds to test their knowledge of world geography. Students will have fun competing in a friendly game of blooket in different challenges. No account or additional device is needed for the game, but students should be able to read and answer the questions independently. Please note that there is NO INSTRUCTION before game time. Students will however have several opportunities to share any new facts they learned through the challenges. Questions will cover different branches of geography (such as physical, human, cultural, political, historical, and economic geography). Topics may include countries and their capital cities, landforms, earth's natural and agricultural resources, flags, languages, food, history, and more! This is an ongoing class with no end date. After 8 weeks, a new set of questions will be used for the next cycle. Learners are welcome to hop in and out anytime. Below is a weekly breakdown of the schedule: Week 1: Asia Week 2: Africa Week 3: North America Week 4: Student requests Week 5: South America Week 6: Europe Week 7: Oceania and Antarctica Week 8: Student requests I hope to see you in class!

The goal is for students to have fun playing games (in a low-stress atmosphere) while testing their knowledge of world geography.

Parental Guidance
This class uses blooket. Students do not need to open a blooket account or need any additional device in order to play the game. For every challenge, a link will be provided in the chat box for students to join in the game. They should be able to use the chat box.
