Class Experience
In this ongoing class, students will be learning to draw and use different art mediums each week to color the nature drawings. We will break down the subject into simple shapes and then refine our drawing. Drawing techniques will cover shading, highlights, mark making, texturizing, blending, and rendering as needed for the specific project. Various techniques to add color will be suggested for some of the art projects. Lessons will be in a "work with me format" with visual and audio...
Drawing techniques, various art medium techniques for coloring.
Pencil. Eraser. Gum eraser (optional). Blending stick. (optional). Sketchbook or drawing paper. Various coloring mediums such as markers, colored pencils, gel pens, paint pens, oil pastels and watercolor pencils.
45 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Non-toxic, child-safe art supplies only.
