In this weekly ongoing course, we will observe, discuss, & draw different medicinal plants each week! We will learn about the history, uses, and parts of various medicinal plants. The content does not build, however it is a complete semester course. Each week, we will focus on one type of medicinal plant. We will observe real life examples, discuss fun facts, and we will highlight a "plant of the week", observing and discussing it in detail. After our discussion, we will draw the plant together! After drawing together, we will engage in a discussion in which each learner will have the option to share their artwork with the group and talk about it. This concluding activity promotes positive discussion, strengthening communication as well as critical thinking skills. This class is also available as a 1:1 private tutoring class.
