Beginner Level
In this weekly class, students will be learning to draw an adorable animal and use watercolor techniques to paint it. We will break down animals into simple shapes and then refine our drawing. Watercolor painting techniques will cover wet on dry, dry brush, wet on wet, lifting color for mistakes and effects, washes and layers as needed for the specific project. Join our class anytime! Each week will be a new animal and I will demonstrate all the techniques needed to make your painting wonderful! Lessons will be in a "work with me format" with visual and audio step-by-step instructions. I will show my finished work at the start of class as an example along with the supplies needed to create it. Art freedom and fun will be emphasized in a relaxed setting. Students will be encouraged to add their creative personal touches to their work. I will offer a sharing event at the end of the class and/or I will encourage students to upload their finished work to the classroom after it dries to share with me and their art friends. 2024 ongoing...
