Description
Class Experience
This reading class will provide reading supports for 3rd graders in an individualized manner. The 40 minute class schedule will be scheduled as follows: - Reading comprehension (10 minutes) - Fluency and accuracy practice (10 minutes) - Vocabulary expansion (10 minutes) - Individual conferencing (5 minutes) ~With brain breaks in between~ Since students are able to join any week that suits his or her needs, we will follow the same frame work each week but use student choice to determine...
Homework is optional, as students will simply be asked to use the strategies learned in class around their home and with peers throughout the week. Students will be encouraged to continue working in their vocabulary journals.
