Description
Class Experience
The student will increase in their understanding of United States history, and will appreciate how understanding history can help them improve for the future.
I have taught American history in the brick and mortar classroom several years. I have a master's in Curriculum, Assessment, and Instruction, which includes teaching with diversity and meeting each student's needs.
Students will need a notebook or tablet for notes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Due to it being a history class, there are some class that contain some politically sensitive topics (i.e. slavery, civil rights, wars between countries, political parties, etc.) I expect all students to be treated with respect, and will monitor class discussions on these topics very carefully.
