Class Experience

This ongoing course covers third grade math. It has a total of 24 weeks. It is ongoing, so you may join/leave any week. Each week is a different math objective. My classes are interactive and fun. Learners should be familiar with place value (ones, tens, hundreds), addition/subtraction, telling time, measuring and estimating length, representing and interpreting data, geometry, and word problems. I like to engage the children and we all problem solve together. I use props, a whiteboard, and...

Learning Goals:

Each week we will have a homework sheet(s) to be completed outside of class. We will discuss this during class. We will review the homework answers at the beginning of the next lesson. Homework is not mandatory but is highly encouraged. It should only take approximately 10-20 minutes to complete.

I will check in with the parents if the learner is struggling in a specific area. I always welcome questions/comments during the semester.
