Ongoing Review of First Grade Math (Worksheets Included)

This ongoing course reviews first grade math. Every week we will cover a problem in each of these areas:

1.	A number in different forms: standard and written form, expanded form, base ten blocks and using place value.
2.	A math fact family (number bond)
3.	Skip counting
4.	Two-digit addition
5.	Two-digit subtraction
6.	Measurement/Data
7.	Time
8.	Money
9.	Geometry
10.	Word Problem

Every week the problems themselves will change but cover the same ten different types. Your learner should be familiar with most of the areas reviewed (place value, addition/subtraction, telling time on the hour and half hour, skip counting by 2s, 5s and 10s, and be familiar with some 2D and 3D shapes). My classes are interactive and fun. I like to engage the children and we all problem solve together. I may use props, a whiteboard, and fun animated PowerPoint slides during my lessons. I always encourage learner interaction and I check in occasionally with a thumb's up to make sure there are no questions before we proceed.

I will send out the worksheets before class every week. It will have the 9 different problems that we will solve in class. I look forward to seeing you in my classroom!
