The learner will improve reading fluency and/or comprehension, writing skills as appropriate to developmental level, and confidence in the entire area of Language Arts.

I am a K-12 certified special education teacher.  I understand the effort that students put toward learning goals, and I applaud all incremental growth.  I am accustomed to developing engaging, individualized lessons that fill gaps in student learning for a successful outcome. 
I also hold a TEFL certificate which qualifies me to teach students whose primary language is not English.

Homework Offered
Homework will be writing for the most part since it is the most time-intensive area of learning and can be performed at home without teacher supervision.  
Parents will upload their child's writing to the classroom or attach it to an email before the next session so that the student and teacher can discuss and edit the piece as a key writing learning activity.
