Class Experience
This is a one-on-one class designed to function as a private violin lesson. I will work with each violin student to improve their playing ability and learn to play pieces of music. I am also happy to make recommendations for pieces to work on and new technique to learn! Whether a student is a complete beginner or an advanced player, I offer my expertise in an encouraging and uplifting virtual studio environment. Students can feel free to request a time slot that works for them and I will do my best to schedule it! Any playing level is welcome!
Learning Goals
Students will be assisted in reaching their full potential on one of the most beautiful instruments - the violin! I offer simple technical solutions and practice tips to help students of any level progress and achieve their goals!

Hello! I am very excited to begin teaching violin classes here on Outschool! I am a violinist in the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra, and I have also played with the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Victoria Symphony Orchestra. As well as playing the violin I also love to teach violin lessons! I have been teaching students of all ages for many years and it is such a joy to me to help people learn to make music on this wonderful instrument! Violin is a challenging instrument but I believe that everyone can learn to play. I am very influenced by the principles of sports psychology and I believe the best way to approach the violin is with mindfulness.
