Ongoing Private Singing Lessons One on One 1:1 (45 Minutes)

Are you the next singing sensation? These ongoing singing lessons are custom designed for you and your goals. We will pick material that allows the performer to look and sound good. Students will learn about audition techniques and we can focus our attention on specific auditioning for musicals or college auditions. 

Prior to class, I will chat with you on your goal so that we can be prepared for class. I am a very fun teacher and try to make my class very relaxed. I have found that students do their best work when they have a supportive teacher who believes in them. 

This is a hands-on class and we will be actively pursuing whatever goals the student has whether that is actively finding new material or actively being coached on the material. After the class students will send me a video of their performance rehearsal which I will provide feedback for. Students are expected to rehearse throughout the week in order to be prepared for the next class. 

There are no prerequisites and students can start at any level.

Week 1: We will start with an introductions and jump into finding out your vocal range and type!  We then come up with a game plan on what artists we like and what songs we will work on together.
Week 2:  We will start work on our first song, always starting with vocal warm-ups.  
Week 3:  We will start with vocal warm-ups before learning the melody to our first song.  We will talk about matching pitch and how to sing any notes that are under-supported or breathy.
Week 4: We will start with vocal warm-ups before continuing our work on the song.  We will build upon our technique learned from previous weeks, learning about vocal resonance and how we can achieve a fully supported, healthy, and resonant sound.
Week 5 and onwards: we will cover vocal warm-ups, breath support, posture, and performance skills.  We work on new songs throughout the course of our lessons together as we delve into healthy singing technique.
