Marisa is an enthusiastic and passionate language teacher with over 4 years experience teaching children, teenagers and adults. She holds a MA in Modern Languages and Literatures and a BA in European Languages and Literatures. She is currently based in Canterbury, England, where she teaches Italian at the University of Kent and does research about mobile assisted language learning. Marisa is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish, and German. She grew up in Italy and realized her passion for languages and travels at a young age. In the past 6 years she has lived in Italy, Spain, Chile, Germany, and England. Being used to engaging with different cultures, Marisa is empathetic, patient and equipped to understand mistakes. Marisa loves teaching and makes learning fun!
Gail is a highly skilled teacher from El Paso, Texas who is bilingual in English and Spanish. With over 20 years of experience teaching in-person and online, Gail has developed a passion for teaching English and Spanish language, literacy, and math classes through high-interest activities, like: cooking, baking, crafts, and life skills focused classes. Gail holds a B.A. in Linguistics from University of Texas, a TESOL certification, and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Education. She is experienced in teaching students of all ages, and has worked extensively with children with autism. Her teaching philosophy focuses on developing strong student rapport and personalized learning experiences to maximize student achievement. 
Vicky is a creative, crafty, and fun-loving teacher from Maine. With over 10 years of experience teaching students in-person and online, Vicky has developed a passion of sharing her love of literacy with children of all ages - specifically at-risk readers. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education and M.S. in Early Childhood Education from University of Maine, and is also a certified children's yoga instructor! Her teaching philosophy focuses on the development of unique, interactive learning opportunities that infuse language and literacy development into high-interest activities, like: craft projects, cooking, baking, and yoga. She is a highly trained teacher who is eager to design the perfect course to help your children reach their learning goals!
Mark is a special education teacher from Maine who has a multitude of interests and experiences that help him to easily connect with all types of learners. He has over 15 years of teaching experience and holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Kaplan University. Mark has worked with K-12 students of all ages, but is especially passionate about preschool and elementary education. He loves teaching functional sign language, early literacy, emotional and social regulation, and social skills. In his free time, Mark volunteers as a youth coach for baseball and basketball and loves being outdoors, camping, fly fishing, and Native American studies.
Monica is a certified Spanish language teacher who lives in Florida, and is originally from Spain. She has a true passion for teaching Spanish language and culture and has over 15 years of experience teaching students of all ages, as well as 11 years dedicated to working as a bilingual preschool teacher. Monica has a bachelor's degree from Universidad de Oviedo and holds early childhood education and director credentials as well. In her free time, Monica loves spending time with her family, watching her sons play competitive soccer, and learning about other countries and cultures.
Kimberly is a fun, energetic, trilingual teacher (English, Spanish & French!) from Calgary, Canada who now calls Oaxaca, Mexico "home." She has over 10 years of experience teaching languages to students of all ages, from around the world. Kimberly holds a B.A. in French & Spanish, a minor in Linguistics, a B.A. in Pedagogy, and a TESOL certification.Β She is a very patient teacher who loves creating exciting activities that encourage student interaction, communication, and expression.Β Kimberly loves connecting with her students, learning about their cultures, and sharing her own rich cultural background.
Brenda is an enthusiastic, licensed teacher from Maryland who is bilingual in English and Spanish. She has had more than 20 years of experience teaching language arts, math, social studies, science, ESL, and Spanish to K-12 students in-person and online. Brenda holds a B.A. in Foreign Service and an M.Ed. in Secondary Education - both from George Washington University. She brings great energy into her classroom and enjoys incorporating interactive, creative activities into her lessons to maximize student engagement. Her ultimate goal is to create a sensory rich, welcoming environment that motivates her students to grow.
Courtney is a fantastic, highly qualified teacher who lives in Portland, Oregon. She has had over 15 years of experience teaching a variety of subjects to preschool and elementary students, including: ESL, reading, writing, and math. She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from University of Portland, a Master's degree in Education from Lewis & Clark College, and teaching licenses in PreK-6th, ESOL, and reading. Courtney's energy is infectious and she's had the opportunity to teach in public and private schools with the youngest of our English learners.
