Class Experience
In this ongoing class we concentrate on exploring some fundamental skills which will make drawing more fun, and easier to learn. (The structure of this ongoing class will be partly adapted to the individual learner's ideas, requirements and existing skills ). I will show learners how to gain an understanding of shapes, simple use of perspective, use of light and shade, and various ways of using marks, adapted to their current skill level. - Students will have an opportunity to spend focused time of specific skills relating to drawing. Students will improve their drawing skills and be able to apply these to their own work.
I graduated with a BA in Art from Norwich School of Art (UK). I'm a full-time artist and teacher of art.
Homework
Frequency: includedFeedback: includedDetails: No enforced homework, however, students are encouraged to continue practicing the skills covered in class, and are welcome to upload their pictures to the classroom for feedback.
Paper or sketchbook, ideally not smaller than A4 a variety of pencils and pens. Eraser. Pencil sharpener.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
