Interested in focusing on your anime portrait drawing skills? Want an art class where you have input on what you will be working on? Want to learn how to draw different characters from MHA? This class is designed for you! This class focuses on the portraits of MHA characters. In this ongoing class, learners meet once a week to draw a popular character from My Hero Academia! Mrs. V will propose a certain character OR students can choose which character they desire! The types of options students may choose include but not limited to; choosing the character, angle of the face, and the expression. The chosen character will be announced beforehand so other students joining in will be aware of that weeks project. In this ongoing course, students focus on how to draw one character each week. This will include but not limited to; Class 1A, class 1B, villains, heroes and other side characters. Students will learn how to measure and proper proportions each week. Students will leave this class feeling confident that they can create their own character after leaving Mrs. V art class. Students should expect to draw one sketch of one character for each session. This class setting is a relaxed, informal and is set up as follow along step-by-step art project. At the end of each class, students may participate in an optional art show. Students will also be encouraged to post their artwork in the classroom each week. Itinerary Line Up: June/July 2023: 💥 Twice 💥 Shigaraki 💥 Mina Ashido 💥 Stain Previous characters have been: Nejire Hado, Ibara Shiozaki, Mei Hatsume, Mr. Aizawa, Itsuka Kendo, Froppy, Todoroki, Himiko Toga, Eri, Bakugo, Fat Gum, Dabi, Kirishima, Jiro, Tamaki, Mushroom Girl, Mirio, Denki. This class will be presented via Keynote and is an art based class. This is a LIVE class and is NOT pre-recorded. This is so the students can interact with the teacher and ask questions during instruction. Homework will be optional. No writing or independent reading is necessary. Some artistic background is helpful, but not necessary. #creative
Learning Goals
Students will learn the following art/drawing fundamentals:
✅ Utilizing basic shapes to create a more complex form; the human head.
✅ Basic understanding of the male and female face.
✅ Proper measurements and proportions in regards to the human head.
✅ How to execute multiple angles of the face; front, 3/4th, side, up and down.
✅ Base understanding of facial features and their structure; noses, mouths, eyebrows, lips and more.
✅ The confidence to continue drawing the anime face on their own after the class has been completed.
