This ongoing course covers multiplication. Learners should be familiar with the concept of multiplication. They may use a multiplication table which I will provide. It is ongoing, so you may join/leave any week. Each week we have different multiplication problems. We start off with a few 2-digit by 1-digit problems and then ease into 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication. I always show an example first. We then take turns solving problems. After we have completed problems together, we then work independently on the worksheet (which is sent before class but to be done during class). We then review the worksheet together and check our answers. My classes are interactive and fun. I like to engage the learners and we all problem solve together, although it is acceptable to not want a turn. I use fun animated PowerPoint slides during my lessons. I always encourage learner interaction and I check in occasionally with a thumb's up to make sure there are no questions before we proceed. I will send out worksheets to be printed each week. Learners should bring extra paper and a pencil to class. I look forward to having your learner in class!
