Ongoing Level 1 Montessori Preschool Kindergarten Full Curriculum (Reading, Math, Culture)
Class experience
In this ongoing class, students will learn a variety of Montessori lessons that most children would learn in their first or second year of the 3-6 program. The teacher for this class will either be Meghan or Sierra. Meghan is the founder of World Montessori Academy, as well as having her MACTE Montessori Teacher training and Registered Early Childhood Educator. She has a warm and welcoming nature. Meghan actually went to Montessori when she was little! She fell in love that knew that when she grew up that she wanted to become a Montessori teacher... and look where we are now! Her dream came true and she can't wait to share her love of Montessori with you and your children! Sierra has been teaching for 8 years. She is a Montessori Master Teacher, certified and trained through the American Montessori Society (AMS) and MACTE. Teaching is her true passion. Guiding children through academics while creating a curious environment and fostering a true love for learning is what fulfils her. Sierra is so excited to be able to share her love of Montessori online with students around the world. All of the Montessori classes from World Montessori Academy are taught by certified, trained Montessori teachers. This ensures that you are receiving the best, authentic Montessori experience for your child. When looking for Montessori classes, please make sure that the teacher has one of the following trainings/certifications: MACTE, AMI, AMS.

Here is what you will need for each week of this ongoing course: Week of Sept 12/Nov 7: 10 of any item (pompoms, beads, blocks, etc) Week of Sept 19/Nov 14: short bead stair/colored beads Week of Sept 26/Nov 21: number rods Week of Oct 3/Nov28: cards and counters Week of Oct 10/Dec 5: teen beads Week of Oct 17/Dec 12: teen boards & beads Week of Oct 24/Dec 19: ten boards & beads Week of Oct 31: golden beads Every Tuesday is writing, so please bring something to write with (paper&pencil, white board&markers, etc). Every Wednesday is Culture, so please print and cut out the worksheet and bring a glue stick, and anything to color with (markers, pencil crayons, etc). *Special items may also be required occasionally, such as construction paper.
