🐴 We want to dive deep into specific topics of the equine industry to help students learn more about equine care, veterinary care, companionship, and industry standards. There is a heavy focus on the equine veterinary sciences. 🔵 In the United States alone, the horse industry employes 1.74 million people with over 7.25 million horses in the United States. While Texas has the highest horse population, 1.6 million households in the US own horses. Imagine the statistics worldwide! 🎉 This class has been creatively and uniquely put together to stand apart from all other equine classes on Outschool. This ongoing course is designed to teach students about various topics in the equine industry, designed by a teacher who has studied and taught the equine industry at the collegiate level in multiple countries. ❌ This is not a "fluffy" club. ✅ This club is intended for equine enthusiasts who are ready to take their knowledge to the next level. Complex lessons will alternate with easier lessons. Those who own horses will meet and interact with future equine owners. Future horse owners will meet future equine industry workers. Horse lovers will meet future vets. Biology students will dive deeper into choice topics and all students will begin to see the "bigger picture." Facts and figures will be applied. ✨ Examples of interactive portions of class: quizzes, discussions, some printables, trivia, video instruction, Who Am I?, and problem solving. This class is set up to be more of a lecture-type learning model. ✨ Please join our class at any time. Each week is independent from the week prior.
