You may subscribe and resubscribe as you best see fit for the needs of your learner. If you wish for a certain topic to be covered that is not on the upcoming list, please send me a message! Grammar is super necessary both in English class and in everyday life; however, many students struggle with the topics and find it boring. In this ongoing class, we will practice our grammar through creative journaling prompts. Each week, we will start out class with a prompt, and learners will be given approximately 5 minutes to write in their journals (or lined paper). After learners have had a chance to write at least a few sentences, I will begin the mini-lesson on the grammar topic of the week (see below for what we learn each week). During this time, learners will be encouraged to take notes in their journals! After a firm understanding of the topic is established, learners will be provided an opportunity to edit and/or annotate their journal entries that they wrote at the start of the lesson. Lastly, (if time allows), learners will be given time to talk and share their responses to the prompt! I hope to see your learner in class soon! Below is a list of the essay topics that will be introduced each week. This list will continuously be updated so you know what we will be learning each week! Week of May 1st- Identifying the Subject of a Sentence Week of May 8th- Hyphens Week of May 15th- Creating Parallel Structure *List is subject to change based on the needs and requests of the learners

Hello!
I love ALL things English (grammar, writing, and literature). My passion revolves around helping learners find their passion for English as well. This can be helping them with creative writing, finding a book series they can't put down, or even just some basic English tutoring.
As a full-time educator, I love working with children and making sure they are engaged through each lesson. The more fun they are having in class, the more fun I am having to teach it!
I look forward to meeting new learners and continuing to educate!
