Class Experience

* I will be taking a break this summer from teaching. I am having knee surgery and my father is currently losing his battle with lung cancer. I have scheduled classes for September, but please note that it may change depending on my father's health. Thank you for understanding.

*Fall 2022 schedule will be posted soon.

In this ongoing group course, we will be using the IEW curriculum to create Essays. Each class will have an informational text from Readworks.org, that the learners will read through. After this, they will create a keyword outline together and then use that outline to create an original essay on their own about the topic. Along the way, we will discuss grammar mistakes and better word choices.
*Learners will be typing their essays on the computer. They should have reasonable (more than hunt and peck) typing skills so that they can make the most of their writing time.
