Description
Class Experience
Each week you’ll create a new project, so you can join our class at any time during the school year. Hang out, while we create designs, discuss our ideas, try different effects, and learn new tools in the Canva graphic design program. This is an ongoing class, which means you can join at anytime. Students will learn how to use the Canva graphic design program as well as practice social skills in a safe, accepting environment. This is an informal class that will emphasize building friendships while also creating digital art.
I have taught graphic design for the last three years and own a business in which I am constantly using my Canva graphic designs to create, market products and build both a website and online store. I've been teaching middle school students for 27 years and love it! After retiring from the classroom this summer, I have been teaching with Outschool. My Beginning Canva design class was such a success that I decided to make an Ongoing course. We have so much fun creating in Canva via Zoom!

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:

Parents, you will need to sign up your learner for a free Canva Graphic Design Program account. We will be using this to design. If your child is going to be using an iPad or iPhone, you will also need to help them download the Canva app prior to class.
YouTube if needed to demonstrate how to do the above projects.
