Class Experience

Class Experience
The student will work on individually assigned tasks with their teacher. Students will learn different concepts depending on their age and interests. Parents will share their individual requests with the teacher before booking the class. Examples of past tutoring sessions include:

Homework Help
Word Work
Phonics, short and long vowel sounds, word families. 
Words vs. Sentences
Writing, Spelling
Digraphs

Our Teachers at DEM Academy have 8+ years of experience teaching and tutoring ELA to students K-12, virtually and with homeschool/co-op groups. Our teachers are kind, patient, fun, and know the importance of establishing a safe space to learn, grow and take risks.

Handouts and supplies will be provided upon enrollment and determined after communication between Teacher Chelsea and the learner's family.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
