I want to create a safe space for my learners to be themselves and master their own unique dance style! Join me via Zoom every week, my classes will always be a blast with an opportunity for learners to grow their skills! Students will be learning a new and short combo each week to master and feel confident showing our friends and family after class. Goals each class: Performance/Dance Style: My favourite part about dance is the chance for self expression, all dancer have their own unique style and my mission is to help my students discover their passion. Performing with confidence firstly comes from mastering a talent that is unique to you! I will always encourage my students to dance their hearts out and find what makes them special! For instance a dance routine will look very different depending on the dancer, everyone has their own style and I am excited to help my students find their own groove! Coordination: My classes will focus on developing my students coordination skills. Each week students will practice following similar grooves and hip hop basics. I will teach skills to sharpen their coordination/ learning how to follow direction accurately and with style! Timing: Hearing the beat and learning how to to be in-sync with music is crucial in developing dance skills. Each class will be dedicated to learning how to hear and respond to upbeat music through learning how to clap, stomp, jump and most importantly groove on beat. My students will learn how to dance with rhythm and coordination to be their personal best and confident dancer! Learning Choreography: Beginner dancers may find it challenging to follow along with choreography, but practice makes perfect. Students are encouraged come out to classes each week and try their very best, it will become easier to master picking up on new dance routines over time. Each class I will help my student understand counts, how to follow along, and most importantly how to master muscle memory! Class structure: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Greetings: (2 minutes) Total body stretch: (3 minutes) Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy!
