This ongoing crochet club is for students who crochet or want to learn to crochet and want to connect with others while working on projects, no experience is needed. I teach via "tell, show, do and feedback" which is very similar to the "gradual release" model used in schools. Each month there will be a theme or central focus for the projects that the students create, all tied together using National Standards for Visual Arts. I have my Bachelor's degree in Fine Art from FGCU and was an art teacher for four years. I love teaching drawing, painting and sculpture to learners of all ages.
Yarn of your choice; I typically use a 4 worsted yarn as it is cost effective. Yarn hooks of various sizes, scissors, yarn needles, stitch counting markers.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
