In this ongoing class, students will practice their creative writing skills using IEW stylistic techniques. Each class will feature a paragraph prompt to spark the learner's imagination.

Description

Class Experience

Students will
-create their own tales from story prompts
-share stories with classmates
-strengthen public speaking skills
-learn to build stronger sentences using IEW stylistic techniques
I am a trained IEW writing teacher. I also have a degree in Secondary Social Studies Education.
Each week students will write their own creative tale from story prompts.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students should keep all stories age-appropriate and free from offensive material.
