Description
Class Experience
Learners will be able to prep ingredients, cook a newly taught dish and plate their dish for overall presentation to their friends/family. Learners will gain a greater appreciation for the process to make each dish. Learners will have many opportunities to have discussions about the country we are discussing during that class. Learners will understand the responsibilities that come with cooking, including cleaning their tools and kitchen as they prepared their dish.
Students will need to gather their ingredients prior to class.
Ingredients will need to be bought prior to class. I will send the list of ingredients once your learner is enrolled class. Teen chefs will also want to have prep bowls ready to hold each of the measured ingredients. (prep bowls can simply be regular cereal bowls).
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Kitchen cutting knives will be needed to prep certain ingredients and oven, stove, microwave and other appliances may be used in different recipes.
