Ongoing: Cooking and Baking Decorating Sweets and Cooking Savory Dishes
Let’s meet to bake and cook up some delicious dishes weekly. We will be baking cookies, brownies, muffins, fudge, mini pies, pizza, strawberry cupcakes, lasagna, breadsticks, pizza pockets, cupcakes, buttercream icing. The list goes on.

At Sweet T’s Baking & Cooking Class, we believe that cooking is an art form. We teach our students to approach cooking & baking with creativity and passion, and to take pride in their work. We believe that cooking & baking should be enjoyable as well as challenging, and we strive to make our classes both fun and educational. Learners will gain confidence in their kitchen as they learn to prepare new recipes each week.
I enjoy sharing my love of baking and cooking with children of all ages.
Have all ingredients out and ready at the start of class. Some classes may need to finish baking while off live class. Post pictures of your baked and cooked dishes.
All recipes will be give at end of class, as I like to keep everyone at the same pace. No one to far ahead or to far behind. Supply list for each week will be posted 3-4 days in advance. Your preference. brown sugar 1 stick unsalted or salted butter room temperature 9”-10” round pie pan 1- 8 oz cream cheese room temperature 1- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk 1 lime Maraschino cherries optional ¾ cup chopped walnuts or pistachios 20 oz crushed pineapple 1 pint heavy whipping 1 small package instant pistachio pudding and pie filling 1 large bowl 1 medium bowl 1 small microwave safe bowl Hand held electric mixer Spatula We will need a few hours of chilling time. October 20, 2023 Pumpkin Snickerdoodle Cookies Two cookie sheets Silicone mat or parchment paper, you could use baking spray to spray your cookie sheets. Rubber spatula 1 ½ cup all purpose flour cream of tartar baking soda salt cinnamon pumpkin pie spice (optional) 1 stick butter room temperature ¼ cup vegetable shortening granulated sugar brown sugar 15 oz can pumpkin purée 1 egg vanilla Some pantry ingredients we’ll be using in class on a weekly basis. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Younger learners may need help turning on oven and removing hot pan from their hot oven. In some classes will be using a hand held mixer, blender, stovetop and/or microwave. On occasion we may use a knife, please be available for younger learners if they need your help. If your child has any allergies or dietary restrictions, please contact me and I’ll suggest something in place of it.
