Class Experience
US Grade 2
Each week in this class we will learn a new second grade math concept. Then we will complete a printable math worksheet together, and finally play a game to practice the skill. This class will go through and teach many of the Second Grade standards. There will be lots of fun printables to practice with after class! I am a licensed special education teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching in an urban public school district. In addition, I have been successfully teach multiple read, phonics, and math courses to varying ages on Outschool for over a year.

This class includes explicit and systematic instruction which is recommended for students with learning needs. I am a licensed special education teacher with experience teaching students with ADHD, ASD, and many other learning needs.
Students should either be currently enrolled in 2nd grade OR in 1st Grade and being successful with 1st grade curriculum and are ready for more complex math. This class is also appropriate for 3rd graders who need tor review 2nd math.
Printable math worksheet (supplied) Pencil Crayons Paper or whiteboard Occasionally we will use scissors which will need appropriate parental supervision
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Some weeks we will use scissors. This will always be noted in the classroom with the week's materials. Please be give appropriate supervision for your learner when we use scissors.
