US Grade 1
Each week in this class we will learn a new first grade math concept. Then we will complete a printable math worksheet together, and finally play a game to practice the skill. This class will go through and teach many of the First Grade standards. There will be lots of fun printables to practice with after class! Sundays at 10 am EST Jan 5 - Week 1: Count on to Add Jan 12- Week 2: Doubles Facts 1-5 Jan 19 - Week 3: Doubles Facts 6 - 10 Week 4: Add in Any Order/Missing Addends Week 5: Number Partners for 10 Week 6: Count on to Subtract Week 7: Review Tens and Ones Week 8: Make 10 to add Week 9: Totals Greater than 10 Week 10: Add 3 numbers Week 11: Make 10 to subtract Week 12: Collect and compare data Week 13: Understand Tens and Ones Week 14: Compare Numbers Week 15: Tell time to the nearest 30 minutes Week 16:Adding and Subtract tens Week 17: Add Two-digit and One-digit numbers Week 18: Add Two -digit numbers Week 19: Order and Compare Length Week 20: Shapes Week 21: Putting Shapes together Week 22: Break Shapes into Equal Parts Week 23: Counting Coins (American Money) Parents should be nearby to help with any technology issues but do not necessarily need to sit with their child. As always, parents are welcome to sit off camera with their learner if they wish or their child needs additional support. Students who attend this class should either be currently enrolled in first grade OR currently in Kindergarten and being successful with kindergarten curriculum and are ready for more complex math. This class is also appropriate for students who have completed first grade math already but are struggling with math concepts.

Learning Needs
This class includes explicit and systematic instruction which is recommended for students with learning needs. I am a licensed special education teacher with experience teaching students with ADHD, ASD, and many other learning needs.
Pre-Requisites
Students should either be currently enrolled in 1st grade OR currently in K and being successful with K curriculum and are ready for more complex math. This class is also for students in 2nd who need to review 1st math concepts.
