US Grade 5
Each week in this class we will learn a new fifth grade math concept. Then we will complete a printable math worksheet together, and finally play a game to practice the skill. This class will go through and teach a full curriculum of the Fifth Grade standards. There will be lots of fun printables to practice with after class! Sundays at 5 PM EDTs Sept 29 - Week 21: Understand Multiplication as Scaling Oct 6 - Week 22: Multiply Fractions in Word Problems Oct 13 - Week 23: Understand Division with Unit Fractions Oct 20 - Week 24: Divide Unit Fractions in Word Problems Oct 27 - Week 25: Convert Measurement Units Nov 3 - Week 26: Solve Word Problems Involving Conversions - Week 27: Make Line Plots and Interpret Data - Week 28: Understand Categories of Two-Dimensional Figures -Week 29: Classify Two-Dimensional Figures - Week 30: Evaluate, Write, and Interpret Expressions - Week 31: Understand the Coordinate Plan - Week 32: Represent Problems in the Coordinate Plane - Week 33: Analyze Patterns and Relationships This is the last class in this section. Please join us for another section of 5th Grade Math Fun! Parents should be nearby to help with any technology issues but do not necessarily need to sit with their child. As always, parents are welcome to sit off camera with their learner if they wish or their child needs additional support. Students who attend this class should either be currently enrolled in Fifth grade OR currently in 4th Grade and be successful with 4th grade curriculum and are ready for more complex math. This class is also appropriate for students who have completed fifth grade math already but are struggling with math concepts.

Learning Needs
This class includes explicit and systematic instruction which is recommended for students with learning needs. I am a licensed special education teacher with experience teaching students with ADHD, ASD, and many other learning needs.
