US Grade 2
I am no longer teaching this course. My new class that covers these same topics can be found here https://outschool.com/classes/i-fly-you-fly-we-all-fly-with-ufli-phonics-2-learn-to-read-write-spell-c6cRMj6o?usid=UHIcIm9H&signup=true&utm_campaign=share_activity_link In this ongoing class, each week we will learn or review a new phonics rule. The review lessons will take concepts that have been previously taught (in either my 1st grade phonics or previously in this class) and help solidify the learners' understanding before moving on. The skills taught in this class are typically taught in second grade. Each day we will focus on a phonics rule and/or syllable type, practice with a sort or other activity to put into our word journals, play our phonics fun game, and we may read a phonics passage. Students will need the handouts for the class each day and will need a word journal (composition book/spiral notebook) to keep their work together. This class includes exclusive access to my RAZkids classroom with tons of books and additional materials.
