Ongoing Class:Western Armenian for Beginners

Each week we will focus on a theme. Students will learn words related to each topic, we will form sentences using those words and practice them through repetition. Every time we meet we will start by greeting each other in Armenian. We might briefly practice how to introduce ourselves. 

The lessons are delivered through interactive google slides, flashcards, and more. First, we will cover words and phrases related to the given topic. Then, I will model how to pronounce the words and use them in simple phrases. Finally, students will have many opportunities to practice what they learn each time.

The topics for each week are as follows:
Week 1: (11/06/2022) Numbers 1-10
Week 2: (18/06/2022) Colors
Week 3: (25/06/2022) Seasons
Week 4 :(02/07/2022) Feelings
Week 5 : (09/07/2022) Animals
Week 6: (16/06/2022) Five senses

This class is great for students who know little Armenian (beginners) or those who would like to learn a new language. The lessons will be delivered through fun presentations and pictures to meet all students learning styles. I will speak Armenian and English throughout the class. The lessons may have optional worksheets to practice outside classroom.
