Description
Class Experience
I have taught for the largest charter school in the US and in Oklahoma, and I have taught all grades and subjects. I am trained and certified to teach them. I have taught these lessons to my former students and they enjoyed learning about the ancient world.
Each week I will upload documents that your student can use if they want to further their learning on the civilization we covered in class.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class does cover various ancient civilizations and marginalized groups throughout history. I approach these topics carefully and share historic information from an Ancient World History textbook (2015). I also use other resources that I used in the classroom to give a truthful depiction of these civilizations and events. We will also discuss culture and traditions in these civilizations. Some of those include things that are not pleasant. Just know I discuss these with the best discretion but I want students to know what happened in these civilizations.
I use multiple History textbooks and Discovery Education online. These all are accurate resources I have used in the classroom as a certified teacher.
