Join me in this ongoing bullet journal social group. Every week we will get together to create our bullet journal layouts and spreads. No idea what a layout or spread is? No worries! I will go over all the details and show learners the basics of bullet journaling. My mission for all of my classes is that every learner has the opportunity to be creative. I believe creativity is so important, and I want to give students the chance to express themselves in a safe and comfortable environment. In this class specifically, learners can get organized and take control of their planning skills through the use of bullet journaling. Each student will learn bullet journal layouts and simple doodles, which I hope will inspire them to create their own layouts and spreads!
I have a BA in Art - Concentration in Drawing and Painting. I have been teaching art classes at the professional level for the last 8 years. I have been using my own bullet journal in my personal life, and have been journaling for the last 3 years. I love to work on painting in my free time, and I illustrate children's books!
You will just need a couple of basic supplies to start bullet journaling, but there is lots of room for creativity and I have listed some optional supplies as well. It's fun to experiment with markers, pens, tape, and stickers! You might already have some of these supplies at home, please feel free to use what you have, you don't need to run out and buy a bunch of supplies. As long as you have the basics you are good to go. Recommended Supplies - Bullet Journal. You do need a journal to start! I prefer a Dot-Grid Notebook. It's most commonly used for bullet journaling, but you could also use a blank journal, lined, grid it's all personal preference! I recommend the A5 size or larger. Any pen you like, these are my favorite, but it's totally personal preference!
