Join us for a fun and engaging book club where we meet every other week to discuss a different book. Students will be asked to analyze, review, and rate our books and to share their thoughts about a variety of topics including: *Author's intent *Character Motivation *Themes *Pacing *Writing Style *Tone This class is for the student who devours books, and because of this, we will be discussing the entire book every time we meet. Students who enjoy sharing their thoughts with others either on the microphone or via the chat box will do well in this class. Students who do not like to participate may not enjoy this class or feel very successful with it. I do not force students to participate but instead expect students to discuss, engage and pay attention during class. This class is ongoing, and learners may enroll at any time. Please note we need a minimum of 6 students to run.

Parental Guidance
Books should be pre-read by parents if you have any concerns about content. Reviews can also be found on Common Sense Media, Amazon, Goodreads, Kirkus, and The School Library Journal. All of the books are classified as MG or young YA. Content warnings:
Gilded is a YA book with a main romance theme and scenes. This is one of our older book selections. For anyone who is concerned, please unenroll your student for that week.

Families are responsible for getting the books for their students.
