In this ongoing book club, students will meet every two weeks to discuss a different book with like-minded peers.

I have been running book clubs in person and online for over 10 years. I have experience working with students ages 8 and up and approach all topics in an age-appropriate way. If students need to be redirected, I will do that. I always listen to students and their opinions making them feel heard and appreciated for their thoughts.
Families are responsible for getting the books for their students.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Books should be pre-read by parents if you have any concerns about content. Reviews can also be found on Common Sense Media, Amazon, Goodreads, Kirkus, and The School Library Journal. All of the books are classified as MG or young YA. Content warnings: Gilded is a YA book with a main romance theme and scenes. This is one of our older book selections. For anyone who is concerned, please unenroll your student for that week.
