I have taught History and Government/Civics to elementary and middle school students for many years. I have a special interest and deep appreciation for what makes the US government unique in our world. I like to help students develop their own understanding and appreciation of how the US government works. Material taught in this class comes from these sources: Official US Government websites: https://www.recreation.gov https://www.usa.gov National Park Service: https://www.nps.gov/articles/000/dc-presidential-memorials-360.htm Encyclopedia Britanica: https://www.britannica.com/place/Washington-DC/Monuments-and-memorials Students need no prior knowledge to join and enjoy this class. Student will have lots of opportunity to contribute to the discussion with the teacher and with other students.
