I am a certified teacher with 15+ years of teaching in the public, private, homeschool, university, online or private tutoring sector. I have been Charlotte Mason trained through Ambleside. I have a dynamic teaching style and animated approach to teaching and learning. I've taken morning meeting and writers notebook workshops and have years of classroom experience implementing this in my classroom and tutoring sessions. I'm trained to teach Saxon math in grades 1-4 and utilize a variety of methods in order to be successful. I am a mental health workshop facilitator which provides resiliency skills to kids through games, role playing, crafts and socratic group discussions. My socratic discussion style helps all kids look beyond the surface and critically think for themselves. Parent Comments: This class is perfect. It is the first class we’ve taken at Outschool where I felt like the teacher was a real school teacher. Her lessons are just enough repetition to be good for memorization but not to become boring. My daughter looks forward to her class every day. You are awesome. My son is learning so much from you. You devote tons of time. I am so blessed to find this class! By the way, you are an amazing teacher. This is our first Outschool class where I feel like a real teacher is teaching the class. I appreciate all your patience and steadfastness to such young children. My mom was a teacher of middle school for 35 years so I can spot the good ones. :) Very good class. Encourages participation. Everyone gets a turn to speak often.
