In this ongoing 1:1 class, students will work to address their unique needs in writing. Supports include graphic organizers, editing assistance, brainstorming, chunking, and more.

Beginner - Advanced Level
During these one to one sessions, I will first work with the student to assess their strengths and weakness, then spend time in each session addressing both. Topics may include sentence structure, essay writing, grammar, thesis statements, citations, and drafting, to name a few. I have a B.A. in History and English, a license to teach English Language Learners (and Secondary Social Studies), and a Master's in Special Education. I have taught writing to middle and high school students for almost fifteen years in a variety of settings, from individual sessions to small groups to large classrooms.
Homework Offered
This is up to each individual family. I can provide extra exercises and assessments outside of the session to be reviewed at later sessions, or we can stick to the sessions themselves to work on all material.Assessments Offered
