Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their understanding of science concepts in the specific science they are studying. Also, student learning goals will be established based on conversations between parent, student, and teacher prior to tutoring sessions.
My Bachelor's of Science degree in Geology, my professional experience working as a Geologist, and my 8 years of teaching science as a Credentialed Science Teacher qualify me to teach topics covered in these tutoring sessions.
Learners will need to be prepared to write down information from our individualized learning sessions. They may need a way to take notes either electronically or on paper. Learners should provide a topic or homework assignment at least two days prior to tutoring session so I may best prepare for our learning sessions.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
