Class Experience

This is a 1:1 class designed to offer Reading-ELA enrichment and support to elementary aged students. 

Fiction and non-fiction texts are examined. 

With teacher guidance, the student will work to improve: 
-reading comprehension
-retention
-retrieval
-improve skills as related to: 
summarizing, 
finding theme, topic and supporting details
making text-to-text and text-to-life connections
inferring, 
predicting,
identifying cause & effect
-use graphic organizers to find:
character traits,...

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
