In this ongoing class once a week, your learner and I will focus on a Math topic that he/she need help with.

What will be taught? Math topics that the learner needs help with, which can be homework, classwork, or any MATH topic. What topics will you cover? For a specific topic request, the parent will let me know the topic that the learner needs help with. Once enrolled please send a copy of homework or classwork at least 2 days in advance before the class starts. Otherwise, I will pick a topic to discuss. How is your class structured? I will start with a brief introduction, and an ice breaker...

What will be taught? Math topics that the learner needs help with, which can be homework, classwork, or any MATH topic. What topics will you cover? For a specific topic request, the parent will let me know the topic that the learner needs help with. Once enrolled please send a copy of homework or classwork. Otherwise, I will pick a topic to discuss. How is your class structured? I will start with a brief introduction, an ice breaker to make the learner feel relaxed. Then we can go over the math topic. How will you teach? I use google slides, worksheets, props, and manipulatives, these include base ten counters, geometry builder sets, ten framesets, measuring spoons, blocks, lego, play money, clock dials, and many more. These manipulatives help students learn about counting, time, measurement, geometric shapes, addition, subtraction, and many more. What's your teaching style? It will be more of questions and answers to keep students engaged. How much will learners get to interact with you and each other (mention specifics like lecture, games, slides, video clips, discussion)? I will be using slides, worksheets, games (bingo, Kahoot, Blooket). Do any required experience or knowledge learners need? Be ready to learn and have fun :)Assessments Offered

To practice addition, subtraction, ten frames, etc., learners (with the help of parents) will be asked to prepare counters any of these examples( eg. lego, blocks, popsicle stick, cheerios, beads, macaroni, and many more). These will be used as counters. Math counters are small objects that kids can count and move around to help them do plenty of maths problems. paper, pencil, eraser
