This is a course to journey through more advanced repertoire following completion of "Piano Adventures Part 3" or following placement from the one time "1-1 Meet + Place" class. Ms. Diana will be in contact with parents on a weekly basis to ensure you are aware of their progress and expectations for practice each week. We will learn about notes + rhythm while putting them together to create beautiful music! Students will learn through games and activities to better their understanding of each song they play. I will model each song and the student will be given time to practice while in the room with me to guide and correct them along the way. Students will be playing songs from day 1! We will start with: - Posture (hand + body) - Playing position - Key groups Then we'll move into: - Rhythm - Notes - Ear Training Next we'll learn: - White keys - Notes on the keyboard - Continued rhythm study - Composing Music Then we'll progress to: - Reading Music on the staff - Treble Clef - Bass Clef This is a focused class that is catered to the individual learner. It is expected that with learners under 8, the parent is present for the first 2-3 classes to be sure the student is able to progress appropriately with their technology and setup. - Learner focused with a focus in creating an environment that encourages learning and growth
Ms. Diana has taught this same group piano method for over 19 years at a local elementary, middle, and high schools and for 4 years now online.
Every Spring was a sold-out standing-room-only recital to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of the students I’m so honored to teach. Ms. Diana truly loves and believes in this approach to teaching and learning after seeing the community, support, and performance ability that grows from such an experience.
Here, we teach piano lessons for beginner students or for those who would like to refresh with our classes as well!
Above all else, we like to make learning piano EASY and FUN!
Our goal is not only to develop musicians but also to create a community that fosters respect and encouragement between learners. We are invested in helping to create better individuals who grow up to be caring and responsible adults through the use of music!
"I can honestly say that I believe I work with the most incredible families here. Thank you to those who have joined the "Piano Adventure Family" and fill each and every day with joy on the journey. I don't take a single family for granted and see a purpose for each of us being together in this season as we learn and grow together."

A little about Ms. Diana:
🎹 I still enjoy playing piano now almost 25 years later and have seen the true impact music has on my life and others.
👩🏫 I have previously taught elementary educators at Florida International University how to incorporate music into the elementary classroom and had a BLAST!
🌊 I LOVE the ocean and spent a summer in high school living on a boat for 21 days!
🥋 Fun fact: I have my red belt in Kung Fu!
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
Let's journey through music together.
