One to One Tutoring - Math Booster (25 Minutes X 4 Days) - By Request

You child will be supported and challenged to boost their confidence as a mathematician no matter where they currently are in their learning journey.

Your child can bring questions from school that they are struggling with, or we can create a curriculum tailored to your needs.

I specialise in "doing the basics brilliantly" because I know how important these are to your child as they progress through their education. I also make learning fun through my enthusiasm for math, interactive activities and getting to know how to bring the best out of your child.

Topics you might want us to focus on include:
  - times tables and multiplication (1-12)
  - adding and subtracting
  - dividing
  - telling the time
  - working with money
  - place value
  - pattern spotting
  - data representation

Your child will receive the support  they need to get the basics right and iron out any misconceptions they have.
If your child needs stretching then they will be challenged to explore topics in more depth to gain fluency and a greater understanding of the math.

In between classes I can make available practice and recall resources for your child to use to embed any new learning. I will give concise and easy to follow instructions on how to use these learning tools.

I believe that you, as the consistent adults in your child's life, have a significant impact on their learning. However some parents lack the confidence to support their own child with their math.
Because of this I can also offer guidance to parents on how they can best support their child in-between tutoring sessions.
